PHOTOS: New Mural, Temporary Bakery Sign, and More as San Fransokyo Square Transformation Continues at Disney California Adventure

We spotted several new changes to the Pacific Wharf as it is reimagined into San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park. Let's take a look at the details.

A new mural has been painted over restrooms, advancing the space towards its San Fransokyo transformation.

Themed San Fransokyo construction signs decorate the construction walls around the area.

The new mural is positioned on the face of the restroom building, between the two entrances.

Pictured in the artwork is the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge alongside a sunset, kites, birds and a stylized water graphic. Two clouds float behind the bridge.

Covered seating is available just to the left of the facility.

Plenty of work is still being done around the Pacific Wharf Café.

Scrim and construction walls surround the space, similar to our report from last week.

Despite the all of the construction walls and scrim, guests still have access to the eatery.

A banner identical in appearance to the usual sign has been hung over the original.

The Pacific Wharf Distribution Co. beverage and snack cart is also behind construction walls as of today.

This location typically serves Mickey Pretzels and features assorted Karl Strauss handcrafted beers on tap.

There is no reopening date available on the Disneyland Resort website at this time.

Plenty of covered seating is still available for guests to relax out of the sun.

Our last update for the Pacific Wharf transformation was just over a week ago when Boudin Bakery was nearly surrounded by walls and scrim.

Early concept art shows some of this San Fransokyo signage and the whole building draped in paper lanterns. The San Fransokyo Gate Bridge has already reopened to guests following a several-week transformation.

Right now, the area is largely known as a food court for Disney California Adventure Park. Among Lucky Fortune Cookery and the Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, other options in the land include Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, Pacific Wharf Cafe, Rita's Baja Blenders, and Pacific Wharf Distribution Co.

When the construction is complete, the new version of the land will include a Baymax meet and greet, additional dining options and more. San Fransokyo Square is expected to open this summer.
